BOXING AND MEN’S HEALTH

Boxing is a good way to lose weight and be physically active. It can be done without the pricy gym equipment. You may want to hire a professional trainer or subscribe to online men’s health portals and guides. Boxing does many wonders for men’s health. Aside from helping you shred weight in a more enjoyable way, boxing also promotes good blood circulation. Boxing activates the muscle functions through the agility exercises. Strength and power can also be honed through boxing.

All of the benefits that boxing can provide to men’s health are achievable without being too harsh to your body. Basic boxing exercises may only need a jump rope, a timer, boxing/weighted gloves, light set of weights, and ample space for push ups and crunches. If you already completed these basic requirements, you may now try these simple exercises. These exercises can be finished in 15 minutes, or depending on your time commitment, you can do this for as long as 45 minutes. It is important to be mindful of your intervals. Intervals for these boxing exercises may be varied from 30-60 seconds. For men’s health, these boxing exercises build strength and speed.

1. Using your weighted gloves, shadowbox starting with six controlled punches to a imaginary body and another six to a phantom head. Do this shadowboxing again every 30 seconds. You have to extend your arms out, pull them back to guard your face, and do this routine again. You can also imagine that you are avoiding counterpunches to add agility training.

2. Cardio is an important exercise in boxing. With your feet together, start jumping with your rope for 30 seconds. Be sure to maintain a tight distance to the ground. When doing jump rope exercise, you have to push yourself to your limits—until dire exhaustion or puking.

3. Push-ups and crunches are good for maintaining good physique in men’s health. You just have to be mindful of your form ensuring that you are doing the right exercises and you are utilizing the right body parts.

Repeating these exercises for a couple of times will serve you good and will boost your health and stamina. The key to perfect men’s health is determination and willingness to push through with these exercises. You just have to be determined and boxing exercises will do the rest.
