Blunt Wraps and Cigars for Newbies

So you’ve been smoking cigarettes for a while now and you want to try something new… pot smoking that is. But you feel a bit hesitant because there are a few terms that you have no idea about, one in particular is blunt. What are they?

Most probably, you are aware of what a common joint is pot smoking. If you’re not, it is basically the cigarettes in pot smoking. Now for blunts, there are the cigars in the pot smoking world. Blunts are made of Tampa blunt wraps that wrap rolled pot into a cigar. You can also use rolled herbs inside the wraps, whatever you prefer.

You should know that there are different types of blunt wraps on the market today. They come pre-packed, similar to brown rolling paper. What’s awesome about Tampa blunt wraps is that they come in different flavors like Vanilla or Raspberry. On top of that, wraps are the easiest to work with when rolling pots or herbs; they are the nicest ones to roll to. Blunt wraps are usually always fresh, moist and soft. If you are able to buy a dry a brittle one, you bought a bad wrap.

Blunts, on the other hand, are pot cigars that you can readily buy. These are really bad cigars, hence, the name “blunt.” They are wrapped thinly, simply using a tobacco leaf. Given that you’re still new to this, the taste of a blunt can intimidate you. It’s pretty strong. This is why many pot smokers prefer making their own rolls, so they can customize it perfectly to the “hit” they want.

The next thing you should know is that you should always get fresh blunts and wraps to ensure a great smoking experience. As previously mentioned, the wrap should neither be brittle nor crisp. A test that you can do is push a nail on the side of the wrap and see if it gets pierced. If it doesn’t, then the wraps are fresh. If there’s a hole, this means that the wraps are bad and you won’t be able to work with them. They’ll most probably just rip or break when you roll them.

So, how do you go about rolling a blunt or cigar using a Tampa blunt wrap? First things first, you need the supplies like your weed or herbs. One to three grams should suffice. You will need an herb or tobacco grinder as you need to break up the weed or herbs finely. You can use roaches or index cards, if you want. You will also need a sharp knife. And that’s about it.

Rolling a Tampa blunt may need practice, but it’s something that you can easily learn. Just make sure you find a reputable supplier who can supply you with the freshest wraps consistently.
