So you have a car, a car that you really love. But
when it comes to the maintenance and repairs, you have to admit that you’ve
missed some as well. This doesn’t make you an evil person, not at all. However,
these maintenance and repair schedules that you’ve missed might bite you back
someday.
True enough, small problems can be an inconvenience
to get auto repair for. You think that this small problem can be put off later.
The problem is that these small problems can get bigger. And worse, what you
think is just a small car problem, may already be a sign that it will be a
full-blown problem to deal with.
So before a car problem causes you to have an
accident or even fatal car crashes, here are car problems that need immediate auto
repair. Look out for these:
· Clicking ball joint. The ball joints
are located on the front wheels steer. These things are very important to
support your car’s weight and also, to attach the front wheels on your car.
When it starts making a clicking, popping or snapping sound when you turn the
wheel, or if its creaks, squeaks or thuds when you stop, there’s a chance that
the ball joints may fall off soon. Get an auto diagnostics right away to check
on the possible problem.
· Worn out bearing. Car wheels spin on
bearings, which should be greased all the time. However, if the bearings are
worn out, it can make the wheels stop suddenly. This problem can get fatal if
you are travelling speedily and your car suddenly halts. You’ll notice the
problem when there’s a grinding, high-pitched and howling sound when you drive
the car at high speed or making turns. If you notice the sounds, call for auto
diagnostics right away.
· Failing CV Joints. Continuous velocity
fails to function properly when they lack lubricant or are contaminated. If
this happens, your car’s engine won’t transmit the power to the wheels, hence,
putting your car to idle mode. Not to mention, the CV joints can break apart
with parts scattered on your engine and brakes. You will notice popping,
low-pitched humming and clicking noises when you make tight turns or drive at
high speeds. If you do, call for auto diagnostics.
· Brakes. It’s common knowledge to
ensure that your brakes are working properly all the time. This is always on
top of the list of fatal auto problems. When you hear anything unusual from
your brakes, it is important to run auto diagnostics and get auto repair for
any problems. If you hear metal friction noises or if the brakes are too hard
or soft, get them checked.

Red oil light. This light on the
dashboard doesn’t mean you need an oil change. Rather, it is telling you that
your engine is low on oil and if you ignore it, it can destroy your engine
permanently. If the light continues, this might mean that you are leaking or
burning oil. Get it checked right away.
With car problems, you really can’t gamble. When
you notice any unusual sounds or movements, call for auto repair immediately
and avoid fatal accidents.
