Transfer Case Repair Tips and Auto AC Repairs

imagesWhat is a transfer Case and how does a transfer case repair work?

Transfer Case is commonly found in four-wheel drive vehicles. They are connected to the transmission and the axles through the drive shafts. Drive shaft is the part used in transmitting torque to support and enable other parts of the drive train. The main function of the transfer case is to receive signals and power from the transmission and distributes it to the front and rear axles. When damaged, it results to the incoordination of tires because the front and rear tires never turn at the same speed especially when their sizes differ. Transfer case repair is done in two ways; the first one is the electronic ally, this is usually done in sports cars, where the transfer case is permanently “locked” into a specific wheel drive. The other way of transfer case repair is done manually, where the operation is done by the driver, this is usually done in big wheeled trucks. After the damage, auto AC repairs will also be needed since the unbalanced box damages parts in the cooling part of your car.
