  • Ceramic tiles- ceramic floorings are a good choice for rooms that are exposed to rain or that are exposed to moist. Unlike cork floors, ceramic tiles do not rot in water; this means that your kitchen is the best place to put ceramic tiles as it is more exposed to spills and stains.
  • Cork floors- bamboo and cork floors are usually a tandem. Cork floors are a great choice for bedrooms and entertainment areas. Aside from being heat resistant and insect resistant, it is noise resistant, thus making your music room as quiet from the outside as possible. Bamboo and cork floors come in a variety where you can choose from. Some settle for the stylish and plain cork floors but others go for laminated floors.
  • Vinyl floors- vinyl floors were formerly called linoleum floors. They come in a variety of colors and styles. Vinyl floors are perfect bathrooms and kitchens. Aside from being water resistant, this type of flooring is quite affordable and can be an alternative for ceramic floors.

  • Rubber floors- rubber floors are as safe as cork floors since they are skid free. This type of flooring is common in schools and hallways of homes, where kids are prone to accidents. Other perfect places to set rubber flooring are exercise rooms, bedrooms, and playrooms since very little maintenance is required. A routine wash and occasional sweeping is enough to maintain its quality.

Whether you pick expensive marble floors or affordable cork floors, it is your obligation to estimate your family’s needs when it comes to setting your floorings. Give your feet a worthy floor to step on. Choose the right flooring by keeping in mind this simple note when choosing.
